Westeros Map application for Android and iOS

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry for writing in English, but I don't speak Czech while my application will definitely be interesting to the auditory.

I'm developer of application designed to help people who reads GRRM's books to recall world geography using their Android & iOS mobile devices. Here are links to all versions:

- Google Play - completely free;
- iTunes Store - Westeros & western Essos are free while entire map can be purchased for $1.99;
- Amazon Appstore - completely free but US only.

Latest news about the app can be found in blog and Twitter page. Feel free to provide your feedback and suggestions - that would help us to make Westeros Map better.

    :D Čo takto založiť samostatný vyhľadávač len pre Westeros? Gosteros :D

    Why not to create individual browser like Google only for Westeros? Gosteros?

    A propos - názvosloví Tance s draky se ujměte někdo, kdo si zakoupíte knihu...mi stačil originál a na českou versi si počkám až ji dostanu někdy v létě...

    Jablečnáci jsou první, protože je snazší upraivt aplikaci pro jedno zařízení, než pro stovky různých ;-) sorry, profesní deformace Jo a jablečnáci to maj placený, esli se nemejlim.

    We've started to work on Braavos sub map. It would be available in both Android and iOS version in the middle of July, 2012. Stay in touch :)

    We've released version 1.4.3 of Westeros Map for iPhone/iPad. It provides the map of Braavos! Have fun!

    Sajn: Odporúčam ti využívať SP, takto môže dôjsť ten mail k zneužitiu.

    Che che. No co už, tomuhle porozumí taky. A já vítám sebemenší šanci na procvičení.

    Vlcacka: furt to ukazuje, že není s mým zařízením kompatibilní :(

    to aj ja, nedávno som premýšľal, že by bolo dobré si na chate nájsť niekoho na anglickú konverzáciu... Nejakého brita/britku...

    akú verziu adroidu máš ? tá aplikácia funguje iba na 2.2 a vyššie, čiže ani mne nejde :(

    No, na ICS se zatím asi nedohrabem, ale nemělo by jít droidě taky upgradovat?

    BTW, Android version of Westeros Map was recently updated and now includes map of Braavos too: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.westeros.map

    Westeros Map for iPhone/iPad was updated to v1.4.4. This version brings fix for iOS 4.x crash bug and provides updated world map look(new images for castles, cities, towns, ruins etc). Have fun!

    Hi all,

    There was long time since I posted news about Westeros Map last time. Sorry for that, we were busy implementing many new features for the application:

    • Maps of Winterfell and Pentos are now available for both Android and iOS users in addition to King's Landing and Braavos maps;

    • iPhone/iPad/iPod users can enjoy new 'Characters Pack' feature - portraits of main saga character can be shown on top of the map with ability to drag them to any location you want;

    • Many bugfixes and minor improvements,

    May you add special animation to map of Meereen?:

    User might be able to toggle between Dany's decisions. First decision would be just sea. Second decision would show some "hate-full" ships of Xaro... In third they expand by Meereen ships that want revenge... Pressing fourth decision would let appear some ships of Volantis and New Ghis. This feature might be called "Who-hates-Dany-meter" :D It could be very funny bonus feature for everyone who hates Dany
